Remember these?

My Auntie had a set of these when I was a kid. I remember drinking from them, but I don't remember what my favorite color was.
My mom remembers making Jello and freezing it in these cups, until it was icy, and eating it right out of the frosty cup, to keep cool in the middle of a hot Sacramento summer.
I found a set at a sidewalk sale this weekend, thinking I would sell them in my Etsy shop. But, now, I'm not so sure.
My mom nearly came unglued when she saw them. I don't know if I can do that to her!
A blast from the past. They're fun, right?
Whether it's a cup that you used to drink from, or a book you remember reading, or even an old friend you haven't seen in almost 2 decades, and when you find them, (God bless Facebook!) you just pick up, right where you left off...cuz that's the kind of relationship you have....
A blast from the past is a good thing.
Makes me want to hold on a little tighter to those things and people that I treasure now, so 2 decades don't go by before I see them again.
Know what I mean?

OMG, I do remember those...I loved drinking out of them when I was a kid. Everything tasted extra cold in them!

Thanks for bringing back some memories!

Michele

I remember those too and I have some! I found them at a tag sale and I just HAD to have them since they brought back such wonderful childhood memories. Plus-they make whatever you're drinking extra cold too! Gotta love 'em. I will be hanging onto mine until the end of time. Thanks for sharing yours with us!

I remember those too from my childhood. My Grammy and Grampy were already retired and traveled around the U.S. in a wonderful Airstream trailer. They had these colored aluminum tumblers. Seeing these always makes me think of them.
