The big day...

Hey everybody!! I hope you all are doing well! Before we get to the fun stuff, I wanted to Thank you for all the well wishes for my birthday. You girls are soooo sweet! It really made my week to know I get to give back a little to you!!! Kinda like party favors! I hope you are ready!

Now that that business is done, would you like to see what I've been working on? It's not done, so keep that in mind. I started with this wire dress form:



I cut the bodice part off with wire snips. Then I took these old leaves:


I added paint, glitter and words cut from an old book and altered those leaves. Some more wire, mercury glass beads, posies:

The top is a 6" reproduction doll head I had in my etsy. It didn't sell ( I was so glad!), so I knew I had to make something special with her:

I love her!

Also, here is a look at a wonderful assortment of goodies I got from Kathy. Ske is one of the sweetest, most giving people I know and she apoiled me! She also gave me a big ol' herkin' cupcake with, probably a half pound of frosting, no lie! I. unfortunately, don't have a picture of that beautiful cupcake...cuz...ummmm...OKAY FINE! I SCARFFED IT DOWN like PIG!!!!

Well, there was no WAY on God's green earth I was gonna bring it home and have to SHARE it with 4 other people! DUH!
